Krajky an Koralky es Alexandra Lizánková, una mujer nacida en la República Checa hace 45 años.
Alex realiza joyas combinando rocallas con cristales, pero ahí no terminan sus inquietudes, además es aficionada al encaje de bolillos y disfruta aprendiendo nuevas técnicas como la cestería o el lampwork.

Mi nombre es Alexandra Lizánková.

¿Cuántos años tienes?
45

¿País de nacimiento?
Nací en Pardubice en la República Checa.

¿País de residencia?
He estado viviendo en Praga durante más de 15 años.

¿Cuánto hace que empezaste con esta afición?
Hace más o menos 10 años.

Cuéntanos como empezaste.
En un primer momento asistí a clases en la Asociación para la Educación de Arte y Artesanía en Praga, donde aprendí las puntadas básicas. Entonces intenté hacer algunos collares sencillos a juego con mi ropa, pero rápidamente me convertí en adicta a la pedrería.

Dinos 3 artistas que te inspiren.
Hay maravillosos artistas en todo el mundo, en todo Internet y elegir solo a tres de ellos es una tarea bastante difícil. Lo que más admiro son las obras de Rachel Nelson Smith, Gwen Fischer, Smadar Grossman, Sabine Lippert y por último pero no menos importante - Halina Trolle.

¿Cuántas horas dedicas a la semana a esta afición?
Por lo general, alrededor de 3 horas por la tarde durante los días laborables, los fines de semana trato de sacar tiempo libre para los abalorios :)

¿Te dedicas profesionalmente a esto?
Desafortunadamente no, tengo un trabajo a tiempo completo en un banco como soporte técnico.

¿Qué otras aficiones tienes?
El encaje de bolillos es mi segundo gran hobby, y me gusta mucho.

¿Quieres contarnos algo más de tu vida?

Krajky un korálky - el nombre de mi blog significa " Cordones y cuentas " y trato de dividir mi tiempo libre entre estas dos actividades. También me encanta probar cosas nuevas - por ejemplo, una semana cestería o taller de cristal de murano sería genial, aunque mis obras están muy lejos de la perfección de los maestros. Soy feliz de haber descubierto este mundo creativo que me compensa mi trabajo en un banco.

Would you like to tell us your name? 
My name is Alexandra Lizánková

How old are you? 
45

What country are you born? 
I was born in Pardubice in Czech republic.

Where do you live now? 
I have been living in Prague for more than 15 years.

When did you start with this hobby? 
Nearly 10 years. 

How did you start? 
In the very first beginning I attended classes in Educational Association of Art Handicraft in Prague, where I learnt basic stitchs. Then I tried to make some simply necklaces matching with my clothes, but quickly I became to addicted on beading. 

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
There are wonderful artists all over the world, all over the internet and to chose three of them only is quite hard task. The most I admire works od Rachel Nelson Smith, Gwen Fischer, Smadar Grossman, Sabine Lippert and in the end but not last - Halina Trolle.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby? 
Usually about 3 hours in the evening during working days, on weekends I try to take time off of beading :)

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job? 
Unfortunately no, I have a full time job in bank as a technical support.

What other hobbies do you have? 
Bobbin lace is my second big hobby, and i like it very much. 

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you? 
Krajky a korálky - the name of my blog means "Laces and beads" and I'm trying to divide my spare time among to this two activities. I also love to try new things - for example a week of basket weaving or lampworking workshop were great and although my works are far away from perfection I love them. I'm happy to discover this creative world, it makes an balance to my work in a bank.
