Audrey - http://www.audreygyongyei.blogspot.com/
Arduinna - http://www.arduinna.hu/
Vezsuzsi - http://www.vezsuzsigyongyei.blogspot.com/

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
My name is Joli, Mrs. Berta.

How old are you?
I am 53 years old.

What country are you born? Where do you live now?
I’m from Hungary and I’m living in the capital, Budapest.

When did you start with this hobby? How did you start?
I started beading 6 years ago when I bought Chinese, bad-quality pearls for my 14 years old daughter. I bought the first book about beading that time which contains very simple jewelry tutorials. Later I visited beading courses where I could learn the basics of this handwork. I was fascinated by the diversity of the beads, I’m still under the magic of this world.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
I have learned a lot from these people:
Audrey - http://www.audreygyongyei.blogspot.com/
Arduinna - http://www.arduinna.hu/
Vezsuzsi - http://www.vezsuzsigyongyei.blogspot.com/
I get inspiration not from an artist, I find ideas on the web, blogs and forums.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
The pure beading is about 10-12 hours a week mainly in the evenings, and 3-4 hours writting and reading blogs, forums on the internet.

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
Beading relaxes me, pleases me… beading is a wonderful hobby for me. But what the most pleasant is for me, when one of my colleagues wears a beadwork made by me years ago, or when I create a new bead schema.
For living I’m working as a railway guide engineer at the Hungarian Railway Passenger Transport Co.

What other hobbies do you have?
I’ve always liked handcrafts, creative arts. I started during my teenage years – embroidery, knitting, needlework, tapestry, macrame. I tried out more kind of jewellery making from wire and from glass with fusion technique, but the favourite one is still beading.

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
I have a husband and 3 daughters; they were always supporting me in my hobby. My daughters have not been infected by beading as much as I but they have learned a few techniques and made some pieces of jewelry also.
