ENTREVISTA

¿Quieres decirnos tu nombre?

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
My name is Sue Horine.

How old are you?
I am 55 years old.

What country are you born?
I was born in Pasadena, California in the United States.

Where do you live now?
I currently live in Mountain Ranch, California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.

When did you started with this hobby?
I have been doing seed bead embroidery for the past 5 years.

How did you started?
I found some stone cabochons my grandparents cut and polished in the 1960s and started beading around them.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
My favorite bead artists are Heidi Kummli, Cassandra Graham and Sherry Serafini

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
I only get the chance to bead 2 or 3 hours a week if I am lucky, though one day it will be more!

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
Right now I only bead when I am not busy working. I am looking forward to the day when I can bead for as long as I want. Maybe in the next few years that will happen.

What other hobbies do you have?
I enjoy camping, hiking, photographing dogs and traveling in the western United States.

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
My best friend/significant other and I own and operate a retail nursery. That consumes too much of our time. We live on 10 acres and have 2 dogs, a cat, 10 chickens and an 80 year old desert tortoise. My dream is to have my own studio where I can spend hours beading and be able to spread my beads out all over the place!
