ENTREVISTA
¿Quieres decirnos tu nombre?

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
My name is Enikő Bíró-Kovács.

How old are you?
I’m 32 years old. (Soon 33)

What country are you born?
I was born in Slovakia, but since my 14 birthday I live in Hungary. My parents and my brother still live there.

Where do you live now?
Biatorbágy, Hungary.

When did you start with this hobby?
I started in 2007, when my son went to kindergarten.

How did you start?
I started by creating small beaded animals and flowers. Later I discovered ont he Internet, that there are lots of other things I can be made of beads. I started beading jewelry from patterns.
As I tried self-thaught more and more beading techniques, I started feeling that the patterns are rather limiting my creativity. Since then I try to realize my own ideas.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
There are many beaders in Hungary now, and I have many favorites among them.
There are some whose colors are closer to me, and others whose shapes are dear to my soul.
If I must choose, then maybe the artifacts and ideas of Ande (http://andegyongy.blogspot.com/), Vezsuzsi (http://www.vezsuzsigyongyei.blogspot.com/)  and Zsuzska (http://zsuzskagyongy.blogspot.com/) are the ones I like the most.
I also met lots of inspiring creators at foreign Internet sites. I have three favorites among them: Sherry Serafini (http://www.serafinibeadedjewelry.com/) , Heidi Kummli (http://www.freespiritcollection.com/) and Pencio (http://pencio.chezblog.com/).).

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
I try as much as possible. (But never enough…)

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
I’m a music teacher, but momentaly I’m unemployed, so since this january it is my job.

What other hobbies do you have?
I like playing music (I’m a flute player), reading, and I like to play games (card, chess, strategic games – not on computer – etc.).

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
I have a son. Most of my time I spend with him, and I try to enjoy that, till I can. We have a dog named Mazsi (Raisins), who is part of the family. Finally I have a husband, who is an IT expert, and who helps me writing these sentences…
