ENTREVISTA
¿Quieres decirnos tu nombre?
Mi nombre es Alíz Wagnerné Dévényi. Mi familia me llama Lujza.

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
My name is Alíz Wagnerné Dévényi. (My family calls me Lujza.) My blog's address is http://lujzagyongyei.blogspot.com/

How old are you?
I am 37 years old.

What country are you born?
I was born in Hungary not far away from Budapest.

Where do you live now?
I live in Budapest, Hungary.

When did you start with this hobby?
I started beading around Christmas 2008. Or at least it was the time when my first bracelet was made.

How did you start?
The reasons why I started beading are very simple. First of all I saw a Hungarian TV programme about the first steps of beading where it seemed to be so easy to prepare a unique pendant and necklace - I always loved jewels. Secondly I discovered a bead shop where I was fascinated by the huge selection of beads in different sizes, forms and colors. Then I realized that beading courses were also held in this shop, so during my Christmas holiday I took part at a course and in the meantime I also started to search the internet for tutorials.( I was surprised about how many blogs of artists I found from all over the world... And now it is great to be part of this community.) Within a short period of time I was able to bead jewels that I could already wear though I never had good manual skills before. I am motivated firstly by my husband who is very proud of my beadwork. But I also have to mention that my friends, colleagues, and relatives inspire me a lot, too and not only because they know that they can count on jewels for their birthdays, namedays or for Christmas. Nowadays I make jewels for everyday use mainly for myself and I love the ones which are brutal in size but very simple in desing.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
The three artists who inspired me the most are Dóra Petróné Csécsei, Diana Domján and Gabriella Noszáné Makra (all three of them are Hungarian). I participated at some courses of Dóra and Diana and both of them helped me a lot in taking my first steps in the world of beading. As far as Gabriella is concerned, she always helps me with any questions I have in my favourite bead shop.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
Unfortunately I do not have too much time for this beautiful hobby. During summer we often go fishing with my husband at the weekend, so this is the best time for me to bead. Otherwise on average I only have about 3-4 hours weekly for beading.

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
It is "just" a hobby of mine. This is a good way for me to show my creative side.

What other hobbies do you have?
My other hobbies are related to sports: yoga, kangoo aerobics and cycling. I also "collect" animals, I have 2 goldfish and a gecko. :)

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
Some more information about myself: I have an international degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, but at the moment I work together with my parents in our family venture in the fashion industry.
