***Bubuleta***

Me hace sentir tranquila e inspirada.

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
Hi, I’m Marta.

How old are you?
I’m 31.

What country are you born?
I was born in Portugal, in a city called Setúbal.

Where do you live now?
Nowadays I live in Moita, near Barreiro. But, not far from Setúbal.

When did you start with this hobby?
I’ve started about 3 years ago, in 2007.

How did you start?
I love jewelry and crafts since I was little. My mom used to do crafts, but without the supplies we have now.
I used to spend a lot of money in jewelry, and I thought what if I’ll start doing my own jewels, the way I like and adding all those beautiful vintage and shabby things with modern accents.
I had two classes where I used to buy my supplies and then I start doing my own jewelry.
Then I tried to adventure myself on hand sewing, and made some handbags, and little purses, with my mother-in-law, in felt and tissue.
As I was making this my hobby I showed to some friends, which start asking me to do for them. After a while I start having those friends as clients.
Begin to take photographs to my items and start my blog to show them and other people. And since then I’ve never stop doing it. And Love it of course.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
Oh… there are so many artists with so many beautiful things that I admire and that inspire me. I love the work of Tamar(http://www.nestdecorating.typepad.com/), I love Céu (http://ideiasdeconta.blogspot.com/), Love Thomo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thomo0/), Chelsea (http://www.flickr.com/photos/chelstastic/), Les Petites Choses (http://www.flickr.com/people/29444122@N06/), and so many more.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
At this point of my live I dedicate only 4/5 hours a week, because I live in Moita, work in Lisbon and study in Setúbal. I’m always jumping between transports, classes, work and the house cleaning…puff.
But the next year will be different. At least I wish it will be. I’ll take some classes of new materials and will work with them.

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
No, not at the moment. But in the future I would like to have a shop where I can sell my items and produce all day long, because I just love doing this, and as so I’d love this to be my full time job.

What other hobbies do you have?
I love very much to read, ride bike, and country walks. Makes me feel so calm and inspired.

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
I’m a dreamer; my thoughts are always in ebullition. My head doesn’t stops and my deepest wishes are to fullfield those dreams.
To have the possibility to make these handicraft creations became my live more creative and offered me the possibility of knowing wonderful people.
