¿Cuánto hace que empezaste con esta afición?
No es un hobby. He estado usando la arcilla polimérica como medio artístico durante los últimos 6 años. También enseño mis métodos de creación con arcilla polimérica a través de tutoriales que ofrezco en mi tienda en http://www.divadesginsinc.etsy.com.

Cuéntanos como empezaste.
Vi una demostración de lo que se podía hacer con arcilla polimérica en un programa de televisión en el que aparecía Lisa Pavelka y me quedé fascinada por las infinitas posibilidades que ofrece.

Dinos 3 artistas que te inspiren.
Hay demasiados para reducirlo a sólo tres, y si lo hiciera, sería herir los sentimientos de alguien. En su lugar, he de decir que me siento inspirada por todo lo que veo, y todos los que conozco de alguna manera, pero lo que más me inspiran son las paletas de colores hermosos, diseños y texturas que se encuentran en la naturaleza y la arquitectura.

¿Cuántas horas dedicas a la semana a esta afición?
Aproximadamente 14 horas al día.

¿Te dedicas profesionalmente a esto?
Sí, es mi trabajo. Yo soy una artista a tiempo completo. Es mi única fuente de ingresos, y además también alimenta mi alma.

¿Qué otras aficiones tienes?
Cuando tengo tiempo libre, trato de pasarlo con mi familia, pero también me gusta leer y coser. Hago investigación genealógica y colecciono utensilios de cocina y mantelería vintage.

¿Quieres contarnos algo más de tu vida?
Soy la décima generación de una familia de Carolina del Sur, y una ávida genealogista. Soy feliz cuando estoy creando y enseñando. Me encanta atraer a gente nueva al mundo de la arcilla polimérica. Es el medio artístico más versátil que he encontrado, y las posibilidades son casi infinitas. Me encanta usarlo de maneras en las que no debería tener éxito, y nunca me ha fallado.

My name is Lynda Moseley

Where do you live now?
Near the Atlantic Ocean in the beautiful state of South Carolina

When did you start with this hobby?
It is not a hobby. I have been using polymer clay as an artistic medium for the past 6 years. I also teach my methods of creating with polymer clay through tutorials I offer in my shop at http://www.divadesginsinc.etsy.com.

How did you start?
I saw polymer clay being demonstrated by Lisa Pavelka on a television show and was fascinated by the possibilities of using it.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
There are too many to narrow it down to just three, and if I did, I would hurt someone's feelings. Instead, I will say that I am inspired by everything I see and everyone I meet in some way; but I am most inspired by the gorgeous color palettes, patterns and textures found in nature and architecture.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
Approximately 14 hours a day.

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
Yes, it is my job. I am a full time artist. It is my only source of income, but it also feeds my soul.

What other hobbies do you have?
When I have spare time, I try to spend it with my family, but I also love to read and sew. I do genealogical research and collect vintage kitchenware and linens.

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
I am a 10th generation South Carolinian, and an avid genealogist. I am happiest when I am creating and teaching. I love bringing new people to the world of polymer clay. It is the most versatile artistic medium I have ever found, and the possibilities are almost endless. I love using it in ways it shouldn't succeed, and it has never failed me.
