ENTREVISTA
¿Quieres decirnos tu nombre?

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
My name is Nusi Molnar.

How old are you?
I am 65 years old.

What country are you born?
I have born in Budapest, Hungary

Where do you live now?
I live in Budapest

When did you start with this hobby?
I started with beading approx. 5 years ago.

How did you start?
After I retired I had more free time. That was when I started different hobbies. First with painting, glass painting, made lamps, then I found beading. I always liked to do different types of needlework, I stitched, sew, crocheted besides of working as much as time allowed. I was still going to university when I sew an elegant velvet dress for myself, whick I embroidered with beads. Maybe that was my first time working with beads.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
I am browsing a lot on internet. You can find plenty of things there, so I have met a lot of artist and learned a lot of techniques from them. Sherry Serafini, Heidi Kummli inspire me the most. They are both big artists, maybe the greatest in beading.
Others, from whom I learned the most are Ibolya , Maya , Vezsuzsi. All three are Hungarian beaders and all of them are representing different trends.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
Usually every day I check on the internet a few blogs and new patterns and in the evening I sit down to bead, work for 2-3 hours, but every evening I have some time to read as well.

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
I don't find this as work. In general I make the jewelleries for my family, friends, acquaintances as a gift. Maybe a year ago I made more than I could give away, so I started to sell them as well. Also because everyone had one of my jewelleries and it is a very costy hobby.

What other hobbies do you have?
This is my real hobby. Sometimes I also do glass painting. My husband and I have a weekend house at the lake Balaton and I like a lot to do gardening there in the summer.

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
I am married, have two adult children, a son and a daughter. I have two little grandchildren as well, I adore and spend a lot of time with them. We live with my husband in Budapest, but the summertime we spend always in our weekendhouse at Balaton. When we go there for the summers, I carry my beads always with me and do my stitching there.
