Además, me encanta experimentar, hacer formas absolutamente nuevas.

ENTREVISTA ORIGINAL
Would you like to tell us your name?
My name is Annamaria Kricsar.

How old are you?
I am 36 years old.

What country are you born?
I was born in Hungary, in the town of Szentes.

Where do you live now?
I still live in Hungary, in a village called Jászjákóhalma.

When did you start with this hobby?
I made my wire jewelry at the age of 16.

How did you start?
A friend of mine brought a few pieces of copper wire, to make jewelry out of them. She got bored quite quickly, but not me. The reason why I love this technique is, that practicly it has no limits, you can make anything that you can imagine. I like to work with copper wire from the beginnings, but I like brass as well. Copper and brass wires have much more warmer colors, and jewelries made out of them look more rustic.

Who are three artists who inspire you the most?
I cannot name three persons, there are a lot of wire jewelry makers whose works I like. Besides, I have many favourites among those who make jewelry with outher techniques.

How many hours a week do you dedicate to this hobby?
I work a lot with my jewlery, though I havent counted it precisely yet. Approximately I work 7-8 hours a day with my jewelry on average.

Is this more than your hobby? Is it your job?
It is more than a hobby: for two years now it is my work as well, and I feel very lucky for that.

What other hobbies do you have?
I dont really have that much of time for anything else, but I always try to spare time for reading.

Would you like to tell us a little bit more about you?
Originally my occupation was stock-breeder engeneer, and I never learned jewelry making. Somtimes I feel the disadvantages, but more often I feel the advantages of this, as I don thave to „follow” anyone. Besides, I love to experiment, to make absolutely new forms. For example I just opened a new shop in a Hungarian online mall for handmade goods: in this shop I sell wire jewelry with fused glass with a glass artist with whom I collaborate.
I live in a small village with my husband and two kids.
